Sam Stavish
With a wealth of experience in public relations and public information, Sam is a versatile project manager with a deep understanding of behavior-change campaigns and construction projects in mountain communities. Sam brings a unique combination of strategic thinking and creative flair to every assignment. With nine years of experience, he understands what drives people to make positive changes in their lives and how to create effective communication strategies that support those changes.
Sam is the project manager for the Colorado Department of Transportation’s traffic safety campaigns to increase safety, awareness and knowledge among Colorado’s roadway users. He is an expert in developing innovative and impactful campaigns, leveraging a range of integrated earned and paid media techniques to reach and engage target audiences.
Sam is currently serving as the Public Information Manager for the I-70 West Vail Pass Auxiliary Lanes Project. Sam’s experience and deep understanding of the I-70 Mountain Corridor make him a valuable asset to any team working in this challenging environment.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Sam is an avid outdoors enthusiast who enjoys golfing, skiing and biking. He’s a Centennial State native and a skilled storyteller, with many fascinating tales from his days as a whitewater rafting guide. He is always ready for a spirited discussion and relishes everything Colorado offers.
