Abby is a dedicated and dynamic professional with a background in communications, marketing, and media. A recent graduate of Colorado State University’s master’s program in Journalism and Media Communication, Abby has cultivated a skill set that merges strategic thinking, strong writing and content development skills, and a diligent work-ethic.

Before joining CIG in June, Abby’s graduate research interests centered around the dynamics of social media through the lens of audience motivations and behaviors. In addition to her own research, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at CSU, Abby helped orchestrate the final Capstone presentations for the Journalism and Media Communication department. This role entailed liaising with media industry professionals, leading assessments that empowered graduating seniors through portfolio development, and teaching practical skills to help future practitioners thrive in a demanding profession.

Reliability is a cornerstone of Abby’s work philosophy. She believes there’s no “half-way” when it comes to meeting deadlines, producing quality work and meeting the needs of her clients.

With a Dutch Bros coffee always in hand, Abby has jumped right into work at CIG as a specialist on DOTI’s Broadway and I-25 Station project, CTIO’s Safety Enforcement Program and multiple projects with Douglas County.
